Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I thought it would be good to go over the 80/20 guideline that I recently learned about. The basic principle is that you eat right at least 80% of the time and use the 20% for a special occasion or deviation. I think using this guideline is terrific. It gives you a little space to indulge if you need to, while keeping yourself on track the rest of the time.
Some of the recipes I will be posting for Thanksgiving fall into the 20% category- which is fine! After Thanksgiving back on track until Christmastime!
