Steakhouse Style Creamed Spinach

Steakhouse Style Creamed Spinach:
  • 1 Bag (16 oz) of Frozen Chopped Spinach
  • 1 Small Onion (chopped)
  • 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Clove of Garlic (minced)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Arrowroot Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Sea Salt to Taste (proper salting is important for this dish)
Method:

Cook minced garlic in the butter until slightly brown.


Add onion.

Cook on a medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onions start to brown.


Add the spinach.


Continue to cook until spinach is cooked and any moisture is reduced. Turn off heat.


In a small bowl place heavy cream, spices and arrowroot powder.


Whisk together.


Slowly add to the spinach.


Stir well to incorporate.


Serve hot. Enjoy!
